This policy explains how Marvelous Decay (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit this website or contact us. It does not cover information that Gumroad processes under its own privacy policy when you make a purchase.
Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive the information you enter, including your name, email address, company or studio (if provided), project type, and message.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may also process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website.
The site stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. This preference is not used to identify you and is not sent to us.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate about potential or active projects;
- operate, maintain, and protect the website;
- comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
Where the GDPR applies, we process this information because it is necessary to respond to your request, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, or to comply with the law.
We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising.
Service providers
The contact form is delivered through Web3Forms. Technical data may also be processed by the provider that hosts this website. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services and may process it outside your country, subject to their own safeguards and legal obligations.
Purchases through Gumroad
Product purchases, payments, receipts, downloads, tax handling, and purchase support take place on Gumroad. Gumroad acts as the merchant of record and processes transaction information as an independent data controller. Please read Gumroad’s Privacy Policy for details or contact Gumroad about data connected with a purchase.
Retention
We keep enquiry and project correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage our working relationship, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s retention schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy of it. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
To make a privacy request, use our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in Greece, this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
For information held by Gumroad, contact Gumroad directly using the instructions in its privacy documentation.
Changes
We may update this policy when our website, providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
